Safety

Sherrie McMurray has been the full time company Safety Director for McInnis Brothers Construction, Inc., for the past twenty (20) years.  Sherrie is a Certified Safety Manager and attended the OSHA Training Institute where she became a Certified Safety Trainer.  During the last twenty years, the company has developed a very comprehensive safety and drug testing program.

MISSION

The mission of McInnis Brothers is to deliver to its clients the best quality project on schedule and within the budget.  To meet this goal, McInnis Brothers strives to maintain a safe, clean workplace, with a quality commitment to doing the job right the first time.  McInnis wants their employees to possess the highest level of training that we can give.  McInnis strives to improve the quality of the jobs and have the most highly maintained equipment on site.  McInnis works diligently to keep the office staff trained in the latest technology in computer skills and to  keep the superintendents, carpenters, laborers and truck drivers are trained and certified, in the most up to date OSHA, EPA, and DOTD regulations.  It is imperative that current employees, as well as new employees continue to upgrade their skills and job knowledge so they are more secure and their skills do not become obsolete.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Two (2) time past President for the Shreveport Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.
• Implemented the Safety Committee for the Shreveport Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, where she is Co-Chairman.
• Member for the Committee of Continuing Education at Bossier Parish Community College.
• President of the Minden Evening Lions Club.
