McInnis Brothers Construction, Inc based in Minden,
Louisiana began operations in 1947 as a partnership between John L.
McInnis (George’s father) and Harry E. McInnis (Harry, Jr. and
Philip’s father).
The brothers had been managers of a successful
insurance agency.
During the firm’s early years, work included
extensive home building and small commercial jobs. From a volume of
$25,000 in their first year of operation, McInnis Brothers Construction
has grown to a $40 million dollar plus work under contract company.
The company boasts of a work force consisting of
over 200 employees including 19 field superintendents.
